Special Events

Field Trips

Starting in Pre-school, children participate in a number of annual field trips to support curriculum and enriched educational opportunities.  Children visit local museums, libraries, parks and learning centers.  Children participate in annual swim lessons, as well as annual special events at the program.  Special events include activities such as the annual play, giving celebrations, and carnivals, to name a few.

Celebrate Diversity

We learn about and celebrate diversity to encourage children’s strong sense of self and to promote positive self-esteem in children.  Children participate in in-depth studies of cultures including traditions, food, housing, clothes, and climate of diverse peoples.  Most studies have traditional culminating celebrations at the end of these studies.
